Fahd Al-Ghamdi used to wake up every morning to carry money, business, love and communication mails from place to another, since he worked as carrier in Jeddah. Fahd who is 28 years old said that he is happy with his work as carrier and he left his private businesses for the sake of this job.
On the contrary of the widespread view of the entire world, which was ruling to short time in Saudi Arabia, that Carrier job is a low standard job, and youth are compelled to work in this job because it is the only available job, but this job has become desired, and has competitive advantages, to make the youth competing for gaining this job.
Back to Fahd Al Ghamdi, he is employer in Wasel sector for three years, and he occupied this job after his graduation directly from Marketing Administration department of Technical College in Albaha, after he filled the application on portal of Saudi Post on internet, Fahd said to "Alshrq Alawast" that he is happy by his job which made him leave his private business, indicating to the name of "Carrier "which never form a social obstacle in front of him when he wanted to engage his wife, and Fahd returned this change to the increase of consciousness of society by the importance of this job.
Al Ghamdi said that he never be ashamed of his job, but he regards it distinguished and meet his aspirations in the life, and about the difficulties he faces in his job he say that all difficulties he faces in his job are epitomized in the existence of smashed boxes, and the repeat of numbers in some boxes and random neighborhoods which form a serious problem ,because there are some nameless or unnumbered streets, and the difficulty of reaching boxes in these streets.
The "Carrier" job in Saudi Arabia has been promoted during less than two years, to become very suitable to all qualified youth, that its application requires more than the ability to read addresses on envelops or parcels. Saudi Post has passed a taproot developmental operation, which has started by the staff of employees in the corporation to end with offering a competitive service, compete the services of the other famed private postal corporations.
Dr. Usama Altaf, the SPC Vice President for technical and information Technology, has cleared to "Alsharq Alawsat" that the qualitative leap in the services of Saudi Post is a full development not only for the offered services and the using the modern technologies, but also a full development of the whole corporation included its entire staff.
Altaf said that carriers now are youth have academic and bachelor degrees in the fields of customer service, sales and marketing, and he added showing the mechanism of work " we transact with two authorities for recruiting employees in this sector which are Saudi Management Institute and Technology College", Altaf said that carrier in Saudi Arabia for short time was ashamed from the name of his job ,and when he comes to engage  a girl, he calls his job as employer in Post and Telecommunications department, "this view has been exchanged now"
The advantages of the Carrier now according to speech of Dr. Altaf make the carrier job a competitive job , competes many of the promoted jobs currently, that carrier in Saudi Arabia take S.R. 5000 as basic salary at least, which equals 1300$ monthly, for 40 hours of work weekly, and has two days off in the week , in addition to other various allowances and the end-of-service insurance. 
Altaf didn’t miss the indication to the mission of the carrier in the past, that it was so hard because the kingdom have witnessed in the last period a great constructional renaissance, which didn't met by another renaissance in telecommunications or locating sites particularly, that there were no electronic maps or databases shows the requested location accurately, and carriers was depending on description and prominent places to deliver mails, and it was very hard way of delivery.
Altaf confesses that convincing people by the advantages of new postal services requires more time, but he assures that administration of Saudi Post challenges by its improved services, and say" We challenge that individual who will use our new services, he will appreciate and understand the importance and benefit of the service, especially that we provide homes by the new postal boxes free of charge, although the system of the ministry of interior affaires forces installing the numbered postal box with electricity and water counters like the ruling system in the world.
Altaf has indicated to " The official postal sector is like blood in human body, if it stopped in any city , all governmental bodies in this city will also be stopped , and Saudi Post is the only authority which transfer the governmental mails, and for short period it was transferring the exams of secondary degree, besides criminal evidences, and addressing authorities like Ministry of Health and whatever of ministries which has a lot of importance and security.
